The Competition |
| Fast & Fresh 2008 will be three tiered. 30 scripts will be picked by our selection committee, with ten being placed in each category (divisions A, B and C). Heats will be held on 20th and 21st May, 2008 to decide the finalists. Each team will get to perform their piece twice. 3 plays will be selected from each category for the finals. |
| All participants will receive certificates of appreciation |
| Prizes will be given in each category for: |

- Best Director
- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- People’s Choice

Rules and Regulations |
| Submission Guidelines |
- All plays must be new works written by a person under the age of 18
- Each play must be ten minutes or less in duration
- All performers, directors and producers must be under the age of 18
- Each team will have access to the following props:
- One table
- Chairs
- Door
- Lounge
- Lamp
- Personal Props (i.e. props that can be carried in by a single person) are allowed
- For any other props or set items, permission must be sought from the producers of Fast & Fresh who will decide on the feasibility of the requests
- The closing date for script submissions is 5th Mar, 2008. Late entries will be disqualified

| IF SELECTED |
- Once selected scripts cannot be withdrawn
- Each production will have access to the venue for half an hour (with a lighting/sound designer and crew present) on a day close to the actual event to technically rehearse their play
- Any music submitted must be on a compact disk, with a script attached clearly marking when the sounds must be played
- Fast and Fresh will provide a Technical manager, a Stage Manager, and lighting and sound operators
- Each producer must supply their own Assistant Stage Manager and up two other crew members if their production requires such assistance
- All participants must be prepared to have loads of fun
